Guns and Ammo Garage Hosting Community Safety Forum to Discuss Proper Self-Defense Including ‘Stand Your Ground’ Law
Forum will feature former Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Lieutenant Randy Sutton
WHAT: Guns and Ammo Garage, an indoor, state-of-the-art shooting range that offers first time shooters and gun experts alike the chance to fire high powered firearms in a safe and relaxed environment, will host a community forum and Q&A regarding self-defense in light of the recent attention on the ‘Stand Your Ground’ law.
The forum will feature Guest Speaker L.T. Randy Sutton, a retired Field Lieutenant with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and 30-year police veteran, actor, author of “True Blue Police Stories by Those Who Have Lived Them”, “True Blue to Protect and Serve”, and his critically acclaimed memoir, “A Cops Life”. The forum will be held at Guns and Ammo Garage, located at 5155 S. Dean Martin Dr, on Thursday, August 1 from 6 – 8 p.m.
The forum will be held in conjunction with Guns and Ammo Garage’s first ever “Test Drive Thursday” event, the first event of its kind in Las Vegas. The event includes free instruction with a National Riffle Association Certified Instructor and free trial of guns with the purchase of ammo. The forum will also have Safety Instructors present to discuss self-defense as well as Guns and Ammo Garage’s current safety courses.
