An Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom
An Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom is a series of interactive cooking classes led by Bellagio Executive Chef Edmund Wong. During each two-hour session held in Tuscany Kitchen, the AAA Five Diamond resort’s state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, Wong and his talented team guide students through the preparation of a three-course meal including an appetizer, entrée and dessert. Additionally, Master Sommelier and Bellagio’s Director of Wine, Jason Smith, educates guests on how to pair wines with select dishes. Beer & BBQ Secrets: Saturday, July 6 at noon
Beer & BBQ Secrets is an intimate beer pairing luncheon hosted by Smith and held in Tuscany Kitchen. The upbeat and interactive event invites guests to relax and enjoy the fresh, smoky flavors of the season with a three-course meal prepared by Wong and beer pairings presented by Bellagio Assistant Director of Beverage Ricardo Murcia. The event begins at noon and tickets are $95, all-inclusive.
FOOD & WINE All-Star Weekend: Oct. 4-6
The fourth annual FOOD & WINE All-Star Weekend, hosted by Bellagio, ARIA and MGM Grand, returns to Las Vegas October 4-6 with new programming and even more talented culinary superstars. Bellagio’s exclusive program for the weekend event includes:
Saturday, Oct. 5
- Syrah That Will Change Your Life. Led by Smith, along with incredible producers of Syrah, this will be a lively and entertaining event. Guests will explore the lighter, elegant versions of the wine, from cooler climates to blockbuster, paint-your-teeth selections. The event begins at 2 p.m. and tickets are $95, all-inclusive.
- A Harvest Dinner with Chef Michael Mina. Celebrity Chef Michael Mina will rejoice in the splendor of the Grand Patio at Bellagio as he prepares a specialized menu using seasonal ingredients and unique flavor profiles along with an exemplary wine pairing to complement each course. Overlooking Bellagio’s luxurious pool, this memorable event will be a highlight of the weekend. The event begins at 7 p.m. and tickets are $245, all-inclusive.
Sunday, Oct. 6
- From Far East to Champagne: Bubbles Meets Fountains Brunch. Breathe in the exotic aroma of Cantonese, Szechwan and Hunan cuisine at Jasmine while enjoying the picture-perfect backdrop of the famous Bellagio Fountains. Savor fresh ingredients at several live-action cooking stations and have a decadent dessert finish in the chocolate room, with special offerings crafted by Bellagio’s renowned pastry team. The brunch begins at 11 a.m. and tickets are $135, all-inclusive.
Louis Roederer Champagne and Le Cirque: Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m
Join Le Cirque Executive Chef Paul Lee on a culinary journey sure to impress even the most discerning of palates. With an impressive menu, complemented by four vintages of Louis Roederer’s Cristal as well as Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, Lee will prepare a variety of signature Le Cirque dishes for guests. Hosted by Smith and CEO of Louis Roederer Champagne Frederic Rouzaud, this spectacular dinner is certain to be a memorable evening. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Le Cirque and tickets are $325 per person, all-inclusive.
Kistler Vineyards and MICHAEL MINA Bellagio: Saturday, Nov. 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Award-winning cuisine and Sonoma wine meet in an unparalleled menu prepared by MICHAEL MINA Bellagio Executive Chef Ben Jenkins and paired with the exceptional Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines of Kistler Vineyards. Hosted by Jason Smith and Director of Sales and Marketing of Kistler Vineyards and Master of Wine Geoff Labitzke, this dinner will enlighten and inspire guests.
