Nico Vega and Crash Kings come to Hard Rock Live Las Vegas Friday, July 12
WHAT: Breakout indie quartet Nico Vega joins forces with alt-rock band Crash Kings for a co-headlining performance at Hard Rock Live Las Vegas, located inside of Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip.
Nico Vega skyrocketed to prominence earlier this year with the release of its EP, Fury Oh Fury and the unexpected hit single, “Beast.” Featured in the trailer for the most highly anticipated video game of the year, BioShock Infinite, the anthemic song went on to top Spotify’s viral charts and Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart.
The rollicking band, made up of bluesy front woman Aja Volkman, guitarist Rich Koehler, drummer Dan Epand, and bassist Jamila Weaver, is fresh off touring with Imagine Dragons on its sold-out 50-city tour. The band is gearing up for the release of its new album, Lead To Light.
Nico Vega will be joined by Crash Kings, the LA-based hard rock trio, who released their eponymous debut album in 2009. The well-received album features the single, “Mountain Man,” which peaked at number one on Billboard’s Alternative Songs chart.
Made up of brothers, Antonio and Mike Beliveau, and drummer Tom Roslak, Crash Kings is slated to release its second album, Dark of the Daylight, June 18.
Nico Vega and Crash Kings will tour over 25 cities together through August.
