HONOR WORLD OCEANS DAY ON JUNE 8
The Ocean Project and The World Ocean Network promote and coordinate World Oceans Day globally as a day for the world to celebrate our oceans and the benefits they provide to us. In honor of World Oceans Day, Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay and Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at The Mirage invite guests to participate in educational activities that will show how each of us has an impact on our oceans, even in the Las Vegas desert.
Shark Reef Aquarium
What: Information from leading conservation groups, artwork featuring renowned marine artist Wyland, children’s art projects and live dive demonstrations are among the many activities that will keep visitors informed and entertained this World Oceans Day.
When: Saturday, June 8
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Price: Admission is $18 for adults; $12 for children (5 – 12); Nevada residents with valid ID, $15 for adults; $10 for children (5-12); children 4
and younger are free.

Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat
What: Educational activities include discussions about ocean invertebrates and the effects of plastics on marine life, an interactive scavenger hunt,
a coloring and activity station, games that encourage recycling, a pledge board and more.
