UNLV PLACES FIVE ON MPSF MEN’S SWIMMING ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
Five members of the UNLV men’s swimming team have been named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic Scholar-Athlete Squad, the league office announced on Monday night.
Making repeat appearances on the team was senior Cody Roberts and junior David Szele. First-time honorees include sophomores Balint Batka, Joe Riggert and Matt Roe.
To be eligible for the team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, have completed one academic year at their institution, have participated in at least 50% of the competitions this past season and own at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
