JDRF Hosts 2013 Gala of Hope at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino

Event proceeds will fund research to find a cure for diabetes and its complications
JDRF, the leading non-profit organization in the area of type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, will host the 2013 Gala of Hope at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on Friday, April 26, 2013. The Gala, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature a cocktail reception, dinner, exceptional silent and live auctions, and live entertainment.
This year JDRF is proud to honor John Adams, CEO of Cenegenics, for his steadfast support of JDRF and his many contributions to the Las Vegas community. “JDRF’s unwavering commitment and research support to discover preventive strategies and a cure for type 1 diabetes are remarkable,” said Adams. “I am deeply honored to support and be recognized by this “All-Star” charity, whose fine work and mission to help people worldwide attain a healthier, better-quality life.”
This event, emceed by entertainer Clint Holmes, attracts more than 750 guests each year, will feature exclusive auction prizes such as a vacation package with One & Only Resorts in the Bahamas, a Richard Petty Driving Experience, local wine pairing and dining experiences, designer jewelry and handbags, and many more unique items.
