RUNNIN’ REBELS HOST BOISE STATE TUESDAY

UNLV men’s basketball has won four
straight games overall and five of last six; 13 straight at Thomas & Mack
Center

The UNLV men’s basketball team, winner of four straight and five of its last six games, will host Boise State on Tuesday, March 5, at 7 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center in its second-to-last regular-season game of the year.

The Runnin’ Rebels are coming off back-to-back road wins – most recently (80-63) at intrastate rival Nevada, Reno on Saturday.

UNLV is 15-1 at the Thomas & Mack Center this season and owns a 13-game winning streak in the building. In addition, the Runnin’ Rebels are 33-1 in their last 34 regular-season games at the TMC and have won 15 straight regular-season home games against Mountain West foes.

Tuesday’s game will be televised by Time Warner Cable SportsNet with Ari Wolfe and Dave Bollwinkel calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM and online at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature.

UNLV lost at Boise State, 77-72, earlier this year on Feb. 2, but leads the all-time series with the Broncos 4-2.

Following Tuesday’s game, the Runnin’ Rebels will close out the regular season with a home game on Saturday, March 9 vs. Fresno State at 3 p.m. It is the annual Senior Day White Out and all fans are encouraged to #WearWhite.
