THE POP-UP WEDDING CHAPEL RETURNS TO THE COSMOPOLITAN OF LAS VEGAS
Just in time for a memorable Valentine’s Day, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is once again launching Las Vegas’ most unique wedding chapel – The Pop-Up Wedding Chapel – on Monday, Feb. 11 at 3 p.m., offering visitors and locals alike a twist on the classic Vegas wedding. The unrivaled location of The Pop-Up Wedding Chapel at the corner of the Las Vegas strip creates a one of a kind “wedding photo” for those participating as well as a great viewing opportunity for those passing by to watch and enjoy.
The Pop-Up Wedding Chapel will offer a range of experiences from traditional to faux to commitment ceremonies and even pet weddings. When tying the knot, legally or just for fun, there are a variety of amenities available for purchase to enhance the wedding experience. The chapel’s retail space includes quirky items such as eraser rings, t-shirts, party poppers and even mini-wedding cake pops from The Cupcakery, a pop-up within the pop-up. The space also features Las Vegas artist Jerry Misko’s take on the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, which serves as a spectacular photo backdrop for wedding guests.
Adding to the experience, when guests upload photos via Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #PopUpChapel, the photo is added to The Cosmopolitan’s Facebook page under a special “Wedding Chapel” tab. A white cling arch faces The Strip, providing yet another unique photo experience compatible with social media interaction. When guests post a photo under the white cling arch to Instagram using the same #PopUpChapel hashtag, the photo is instantly available on a video screen above them.
Three package options are available at The Pop-Up Wedding Chapel. Ranging from simple to a more elaborate affair, each ceremony offers a unique experience to guests.
