Get in the Fat Tuesday spirit with a special Mardi Gras wine pairing dinner at Fiesta Henderson’s Fuego Steakhouse. Four courses of New Orleans favorites will be paired with Chateau Ste. Michelle wines at a spectacular value: only $45 per person.

 

The menu:

 

Appetizer
Cajun spinach and crab dip with herb toasted sliced baguettes.
Pairing: Canoe Ridge Chardonnay

 

First Course
Jambalaya with chicken, shrimp and Andouille sausage sautéed with Creole seasonings and finished in a spicy tomato broth.
Pairing: Indian Wells Merlot

 

Second Course
Pan seared blackened New York sirloin and jumbo scallops with trinity butter, herb roasted potatoes and fresh vegetable mix.
Pairing: Cold Creek Cabernet Sauvignon

 

Dessert
Bananas foster, which is a classic New Orleans favorite, made with sautéed sliced bananas in a sweet rum and butter sauce.
Pairing: Late Harvest Riesling
