AMERICAN RED CROSS TEXT-TO-DONATE CAMPAIGN FOR HURRICANE SANDY VICTIMS
Funds raised during Guns N’ Roses residency shows at The Joint, Nov. 7 – Nov. 24
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and AEG Live raised $17,850 through a Red Cross text-to-donate campaign for Hurricane Sandy victims at Guns N’ Roses Appetite for Democracy shows at The Joint. Hotel guests and concert goers contributed $12,850 to the fundraiser. The property and AEG Live donated an additional $5,000, making $17,850 the final donation total.
As a result of the vast devastation to the East Coast from Hurricane Sandy, Hard Rock Hotel, AEG Live and Guns N’ Roses were equally moved to partner with the Red Cross and support recovery efforts. Donations were accepted during Guns N’ Roses concerts, Wednesday, Nov. 7 – Saturday, Nov. 24.
