Certified Triple Platinum by the RIAA in the U.S. and Puerto Rico and Quadruple Platinum in Chile, the album collected an endless list of honors and awards.  Royce has received two Latin GRAMMY® nominations, seven Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, 12 Premios Juventud Awards and 12 Latin Billboards. He was the artist with the most No. 1s on Billboard’s 2011 “Year End Charts.”  Royce collaborated with Mexican super group Maná and reggaeton icon Daddy Yankee and has toured with Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull.

Prince Royce arrived on the music scene with authentic bachata stylings. Royce’s Dominican background and soulful qualities of the young man’s voice catapulted him into stardom. His single “Stand By Me” became the first bachata song ever to be played on mainstream radio in the U.S., bringing Latin rhythms even closer to American culture.

Now, the singer is ready to further cement his reputation with Phase II, which ishis second album of shimmering bachata soundscapes and heartfelt Latin ballads with a hint of mariachi. Phase II, which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Albums chart and has remained in the top five ever since, will continue expanding Prince Royce’s reputation as one of the most talented young voices in new millennium Latin pop. Interestingly, the singer has achieved this level of success remaining true to his cultural roots and the seductive strains of bachata.

The Who, one of rock’s legendary and defining bands performs its iconic 1973 double album Quadrophenia in its entirety, along with a selection of WHO classics at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, Feb.8.

The popular English band will perform songs from Quadrophenia, which is the band’s sixth album. Founding members Roger Daltreyand Pete Townshed will be joined by Zak Starkey (drums), Pino Palladino (bass), Simon Townshend (guitar/backing vocals), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Loren Gold (keyboards/backing vocals) and Frank Simes (musical director, keyboards/backing vocals) to deliver an unforgettable night of classics. The album’s title is a variation on the popular usage of the medical diagnostic term schizophrenia and exemplifies the four varying personalities of the band members who created the album. IGN placed Quadrophenia at No. 1 on its list of the “Greatest Classic Rock Albums of All Time” and Q magazine placed it on its list of the “100 Greatest British Albums Ever.” The album features such classic WHO songs as “The Real Me,” “5:15” and “Love Reign o’er Me.”

The critically acclaimed Quadrophenia raised the bar for rock albums as an art form and hit No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard album chart. In a 4.5 out of 5 star review, Rolling Stone’s David Fricke said, “Quadrophenia, released in 1973, was a superior tale with more-taut songwriting; it was grounded in [Pete] Townshend’s memories of growing up angry, anguished and mod in the early 60s, and produced with the panoramic tension of ‘Who’s Next.’”
