Nobu Hotel, Caesars Palace Las Vegas Opens Feb. 4, 2013

Developed in collaboration with Nobu Hospitality and Caesars Palace, Nobu Hotel will lead the way as the first celebrity chef-branded hotel venture. David Rockwell and his firm the Rockwell Group are leading the overall interior design for the boutique hotel, which includes 181 guest rooms and suites set to deliver a new Las Vegas experience within Caesars Palace. Showcasing Nobu’s first-ever in-room dining menu, private in-room iPad registration, exclusive Nobu guest privileges and amenities and guaranteed restaurant reservations with each stay, Nobu Hotel will be centrally located within the Caesars Palace resort, just steps away from Las Vegas’ world-class entertainment, luxury shopping and gaming. With its focus on developing a unique sense of style, luxury and craft, this Las Vegas luxury hotel will also feature an adjoining Nobu restaurant, spanning 12,775 square feet, which will be the largest Nobu restaurant worldwide and the first on the Las Vegas Strip.

As part of its pre-opening campaign, Nobu Hotel is proud to be a sponsor of L.A. Fashion Weekend taking place at Sunset Gower Studios Oct. 19 – 21. Known around the world for being one of the most fashionable brands, the Nobu Hotel will be converting the L.A. Fashion Weekend Lounge into a Nobu Hotel branded experience, complete with catering from its room service menu and a sneak peek look at what the hotel will feature from design elements to uniforms to access into the Nobu Inner Circle. Guests at L.A. Fashion Weekend will be amongst the first to be able to make reservations at Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace (opening Feb. 4, 2013) direct from the lounge. All Fashion Weekend guests can mingle with Nobu Hotel staff, stretch out in a luxurious Nobu bed set in a re-created hotel room, as well as view photos of the rooms and suites.

In addition, the Nobu Hotel has commissioned five unique couture dresses from Jennifer Henry, a Las Vegas based designer known for using an eclectic mix of fabrics and textures to create one-of-a-kind designs (www.facebook.com/flockflockflock). Each of the five dresses will be designed to capture the essence and esthetic of the Nobu Hotel and will be presented on the runway each evening. “We couldn’t be more excited about having the world’s first-ever Nobu Hotel as one of our sponsors this year,” says Mikey Koffman, Executive Producer, L.A. Fashion Weekend and Founder, The Gallery L.A. “They are creating something entirely new and unique in Las Vegas and we believe that L.A. Fashion Weekend is the ideal setting for them to preview the hotel.”

Nobu Hotel Caesars Palace will bring forth a distinct Japanese elegance combined with a playful interpretation of the fun and energetic Nobu lifestyle. Guest rooms will offer stunning Strip or garden views with designs that embrace comfortable simplicity with natural materials and textures counter-balanced with outsized elements to reveal a touch of Vegas flair. Staying true to the Nobu aesthetic, the furniture will reflect the influence of designers whose forms come directly from nature offering a modern comfort that is both elegant and casual.
