HUSSONG’S CANTINA & SLICE OF VEGAS PRESENT OCTOBER SPECIALS TO CELEBRATE BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH & BENEFIT SAVE THE TA-TAS
Guests can dine at either restaurant to support the cause as each venue offers playfully pink menu items
Slice of Vegas and Hussong’s Cantina at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month during the month of October with a selection of themed food and drink specials to benefit the Save the Ta-Tas Foundation. For each menu item ordered, $2 will be donated toward breast cancer prevention. The month-long event is sponsored by US Foods, Hornitos, Nevada Linen and Pucker Flavored Vodka.
At Hussong’s Cantina, support the fight against breast cancer by starting the night with a Tata-Rita ($10), a strawberry lemonade margarita before digging into the Stacked Boobie Enchiladas ($15), two seafood stacked enchiladas with a pink tomato sauce topped with slices of chorizo and served with Mexican rice and beans on the side. The Strawberry Tres Leche Cake ($5), a strawberry short cake lightly soaked with three kinds of milk, topped with homemade whipped cream and fresh strawberries then served over a sweet strawberry chile de arbol sauce makes for a decadent ending.
Slice of Vegas’ tasty menu includes the Boobie Pizza ($15), two 8” pizzas plated side by side on a platter and topped with pink sauce, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, pepperoni and a black olive. Complement your slice with a Tata-Tini ($10), a pink lemonade martini, or enjoy a special edition Jones Soda Breast Cancer Awareness Cream Soda as a non-alcoholic option. The pink theme continues as guests can finish the meal with four small Cannolis ($5) with a pink strawberry filling.
