HELP of SOUTHERN NEVADA quenchES LAS VEGAS WITH 14,784 BOTTLES OF WATER FOR “HELP2O”
HELP of Southern Nevada, in partnership with Whole Foods Market and Real Water, acquired an unprecedented 14,784 bottles of water (616 cases) during its impactful “HELP2O” bottled water drive this summer.
The bottles were being collected for distribution to homeless residents in Southern Nevada who are adversely affected by the dangers associated with summer heat. From June through August, the nonprofit teamed up with all four Whole Foods Market locations in the Las Vegas Valley, providing convenient donation opportunities for local residents. Real Water, a Las Vegas-based bottled water company sold at Whole Foods Market, graciously matched all Real Water purchases made during the campaign. HELP of Southern Nevada staff are regularly distributing the bottles to homeless citizens around the Valley, on sidewalks, in alleyways and drain tunnels. The inventory is expected to last in to the winter season.
