Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition Presents Haunted Tours This Halloween
Exhibition Guests Receive Complimentary Tours October 21 – 31 from 6 – 9 pm
RMS Titanic’s tragic story is known worldwide, but the ill-fated Ship’s connections to the paranormal are just beginning to be revealed. Discover if the stories are true this Halloween with a complimentary Titanic Haunted Tour at Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition at Luxor. Tours will run from October 21 – 31 starting at 6 p.m. nightly. Perfect for the whole family, this unique, seasonal experience puts the haunting story of the RMS Titanic into a thrilling new perspective.
Since The Exhibition’s opening, guests and employees have felt strange feelings, heard funny noises and witnessed ghostly apparitions. One of the most interesting of these spirit encounters is the “Lady in Black” who is often seen on the Grand Staircase crying for her famous friend, Molly Brown. Visitors also get the chance to feel the presence of Frederick Fleet, Titanic’s look-out, who watches over the Promenade Deck as he attempts to make up for his unfortunate late sighting of the iceberg.
More than just ghost stories, guests can learn about mysterious coincidences such as the longest living Titanic survivor who passed away exactly 80 years to the day the Ship struck the iceberg. Additionally, guests will learn about the passenger who prophesied the sinking of the Ship of Dreams by writing to a friend just a few days before perishing in the North Atlantic, “Right now I wish the ‘Titanic‘ were lying at the bottom of the ocean.”
Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition provides guests with the opportunity to become a passenger as they move through Exhibition galleries and view more than 20 never-before-seen authentic artifacts including gaming chips, passenger personal papers and decorative sections from Titanic’s famed Grand Staircase. Experience the Ship’s historical journey in chronological order: from the construction yards, her launch, first and third class room re-creations, the Promenade Deck, the Grand Staircase, the fated sinking, to modern day recovery efforts. Tickets for Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition are $28 for adults, $21 for children, $26 for seniors and $25 with a Nevada ID. Titanic Haunted Tours are complimentary with the purchase of a ticket to The Exhibition begin at 6:00 p.m. daily from October 21 to 31; tickets must be purchased before lining up for the haunted tour.
