Nashville Unplugged Returns to Mandalay Bay Beginning Friday, April 21
Aaron Benward to Host Weekly Popular Country Music Series at Rhythm & Riffs
Grab your boots and buckles and get ready to boogie as Aaron Benward’s Nashville Unplugged presented by Mtn Dew returns to Rhythm & Riffs at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino beginning Friday, April 21. The complimentary 26-week live country music series is scheduled to entertain fans every Friday from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Nashville Unplugged will bring the heart of Nashville to Las Vegas, delivering some of country music’s most prominent singer-songwriters to perform and share “the story behind the song” of their famous chart-topping tracks. Featuring a rotating lineup of songwriters, Nashville Unplugged will give guests an original show every Friday night. Fans unable to attend a performance, or eager to rewatch their favorite artist, can stream both live and recorded performances via PickleJar – The Ultimate Live Entertainment App.
As the series’ host, award-winning singer-songwriter and creator of Nashville Unplugged Aaron Benward will welcome his Nashville songwriter friends to the Rhythm & Riffs stage weekly. Benward is a multiple ACM and CMA Award nominee who has sold over one million albums including ten No. 1 hits. In 2000, he released his first solo debut album “Imagine,” which featured the Billboard No. 1 hit “Captured.” He co-wrote and co-produced the theme song “It’s Our World” for Walt Disney’s “Monkey Kingdom.” Benward also has written several songs for television shows including ABC’s “Nashville,” Bravo’s “Project Runway” and Netflix series “The Ranch.”
