Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant at Durango Casino & Resort
Introduces Weekend Brunch
Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, Clique Hospitality’s immersive new Mexican restaurant at the recently opened Durango Casino & Resort, has debuted its weekend bottomless brunch. Centered around Mijo’s menu, which showcases the flavors of coastal Mexico, Mijo’s brunch will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday.
Guests craving a savory breakfast can enjoy selections like the breakfast burrito, filled with scrambled eggs, chorizo, American cheese, peppers and onions, avocado and tater tots, priced at $15; huevos rancheros, crispy tortillas topped with refried beans, fried eggs, fire-roasted salsa, queso fresco and cilantro, priced at $15; and ranchero steak and eggs, highlighted by carne asada steak, eggs made any style and served with potatoes, priced at $21.
The coastal Mexican experience is highlighted by fresh seafood and shellfish options, including Baja oysters served with cucumber mignonette and chipotle cocktail sauce, priced at $21; and campechana, a Mexican seafood cocktail featuring shrimp, octopus, cucumber, onion, cilantro and spicy tomatoes, priced at $21.
House specialties will include the birria torta dip, featuring toasted telera bread stacked with birria beef, Oaxaca cheese, pickled vegetables and served with consommé, priced at $22; butter-poached lobster tacos glazed with chipotle cream sauce, priced at $28; and chicken suiza enchilada filled with slow-cooked chicken and topped with tomatillo salsa, melted Oaxaca and Monterey Jack cheeses, priced at $21.
Mijo will also serve sweet indulgences like its churro French toast served with tres leches custard, fresh strawberries, Bavarian cream and guava syrup, priced at $14.
Refreshing brunch cocktails include bottomless mimosas, aperol spritz and micheladas, each priced at $24 with a two-hour limit.
