lineup of event programming and culinary offerings in September
UnCommons, the first-of-its-kind urban campus in Southwest Las Vegas, is closing out summer with an array of events over Labor Day weekend and throughout September. UnCommons will host its beloved recurring events such as Market in the Alley, General Admission’s Trivia Wednesdays and Fast Friday, along with freshly curated events like Wineaux’s La Scolca Wine Tasting.

- Siempre, J.B.,the haute new Mexican restaurant spicing up UnCommons, is officially open. Reservations and more information are available here.
- Capelli Hair Salon is offering free deep conditioning treatments, available now through Saturday, Aug. 31, with any balayage service when booking with select stylists.
- AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, recently named one of the Top 100 Restaurants in Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review-Journal, is featuring their recently added prix fixe lunch menu as well as grab-and-go options, available from noon to 2:30 p.m. Friday through Sunday. - Daela Cosmetic Tattoo is now open, offering services such as nanoblading and microblading, lip blush and eyeliner tattoo, laser tattoo removal and more. For more information visit the website
- Salt & Straw, recently named Best Ice Cream Innovation by Las Vegas Weekly, will be serving its newest ice cream selections, the Apple Series. Guests can enjoy mouth-watering flavors including Apple Pie vs. Pumpkin Pie, Apple Cider Donuts, Caramel Apple Sherbet, Finnriver’s Black Currant Apple Cider and Green Apple Wasabi Sorbet. Available until Thursday, Sept. 26.
- Ahead of its opening at UnCommons later this year, The Good Placeis offering 50% off the first month of membership using promo code TRENDSETTER at checkout. Weekly Events
- Market in the Alley
- From 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, UnCommons will host Market in the Alley in The Quad, the monthly event supporting more than 20 local vendors and creators.
- The Wineaux Club
- Wineaux wine market, bar and escape, now offers its own wine club. Each month, the Wineaux Club takes members on a tasteful adventure with two subscription options, each featuring new discoveries and a prestigious selection. Those who are interested can sign up on Wineaux’s website.
- Wineaux Wine Tasting
- From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11 and Wednesday, Sept. 25, Wineaux will offer wine tastings hosted by their team of expert sommeliers, featuring wines from the Loire Valley region of France. Tastings include three 3-ounce pours of wines from different regions each week, along with light snacks. Reservations are suggested and can be made on Wineaux’s website.
- General Admission Trivia Wednesdays
- From 7 to 9 p.m. every Wednesday night, General Admission will host its trivia night that is free to play with prizes to win.

- Friday, Aug. 30
- The Book Shelf, Vegas’s first and only mobile book store, will be at UnCommons from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information about The Book Shelf, visit the Instagram page linked here.
- Saturday, Aug.31
- From 6 to 8 p.m. in The Quad, Salt & Straw will give away 250 slices of its ice cream cake, “The Cake,” which features seven hand-packed layers of rainbow-flecked yellow cake, double fold vanilla ice cream swirled with blackberry jam, tangy cream cheese frosting and sprinkles.
- Fast Lane Drive: Friday, Sept. 6
- From 6 to 9 p.m., Fast Lane Drive will host Fast Friday, the ultimate automotive experience featuring a collection of more than30 luxury cars on display.
- Bloom Bar: Saturday, Sept. 14
- From 10:30 a.m. to noon, guests can learn how to make an arrangement from Bloom Barfounder Sterling Connell. The class includes seasonal florals, greenery, vase, tools and instruction.
- Sunday, Sept. 15 and Monday, Sept. 16
- Todo Bienwill celebrate Mexican Independence Day from 8 p.m. to midnight featuring sounds by Olea, along with festive food and drink menus. The party will continue on Monday with all-day drink specials and a mariachi band from 8 to 10 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 16
- Siempre, J.B.will raise a glass to Mexican Independence Day with select signature cocktails, priced at $11; and Mayenda tequila shots, priced at $8, available from 3 p.m. to close
- Wineaux La Scolca Wine Tasting: Thursday, Sept. 19
- From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., guests can experience a walk-around wine and food tasting featuring the wines of La Scolca from the storied region of Gavi in Piemonte, Italy. Guests will be able to taste through five wines from La Scolca winery, along with chef curated food pairings. Reservations are highly suggested and can be made on Wineaux’s website.
