Piero’s Italian Cuisine to Offer Specialty Wines
and Cocktails in Honor of the Inaugural
International Race in Las Vegas this November
Piero’s Italian Cuisine is revving up excitement for the world-renowned grand prix coming to Las Vegas this November with an exclusive sommelier-curated wine list and specialty cocktails inspired by countries participating in the race, which begins on Thursday, Nov. 16 and crosses the finish line on Saturday, Nov. 18.
To celebrate the inaugural race in Las Vegas, Piero’s will offer a specialty wine list, available by the bottle and glass, from regions around the world to honor the course map, which winds around legendary destinations on the Las Vegas Strip. The meticulously curated wine list includes Il Palazzo, Rosso-Toscana from Italy, priced at $20 per glass; Chateau des Jacques, Moulin-A-Vent from France, priced at $15 per glass; 12 Linajes, Tempranillo from Spain, priced at $15 per glass; Astrolabe, Sauvignon Blanc from Australia, priced at $15 per glass; Finca, Reserva Malbec from Argentina, priced at $20 per glass; and Labor of Love, Pinot Noir from the USA, priced at $25 per glass.
In addition to the specialty wine list, Piero’s will also offer themed signature cocktails to represent participating countries. Fans will be able to sip on flavors from countries around the globe with an apple martini, made with apple vodka, apple schnapps, Midori and sweet and sour mix, to represent the United States; a French “75,” made with D’usse Cognac, Moet Champagne and lemon; a Canadian Old Fashioned, made with Canadian Club whisky, sugar and orange peel bitters; an espresso martini to honor Italy, which is made with espresso coffee, Kahlua and vanilla vodka; and Roads on Fire, made with Ilegal Mezcal, lemon, ginger syrup and hot honey, to celebrate the union of all the represented countries. All cocktails are priced at $25 each and will be available exclusively throughout the duration of the grand prix.
Piero’s offers traditional Italian cuisine to complement the exceptional wine and cocktails for a decadent dining experience. Signature dishes include homemade agnolotti with spinach ricotta and alfredo, priced at $29; linguine and clams featuring Middle Neck clams, priced at $43; and Glory Bay salmon piccata topped with lemon, capers and parsley, priced at $49; plus, featured specials like the osso buco, served the same way since 1982: a 26-ounce, slow-braised bone- in veal parmigiana.
