MGM RESORTS RACES TOWARD GRAND PRIX WEEKEND WITH MGM REWARDS FORMULA ONE SHOW CAR INSTALLATION AT BELLAGIO FOUNTAIN CLUB

As Las Vegas gears up for Formula One (F1) race weekend, MGM Resorts is celebrating a significant milestone with the installation of the MGM Rewards’ F1 Show Car over the Las Vegas Grand Prix Winner’s stage at Bellagio Fountain Club

MGM Rewards’ unique F1 Show Car was built using the same processes and cutting-edge materials as the F1 cars that will race past it during the event weekend. Similar to its on-track counterparts, MGM Rewards’ F1 Show Car is 80% carbon fiber – the space-age material that ensures F1 cars are as light as they are strong.

Built in the UK in F1’s famous Motorsport Valley by F1 Authentics under an exclusive license from Formula One, then traveling halfway around the globe, this car is one of only a handful produced for partners of the Las Vegas Grand Prix. To ensure the highest standards of finish and to replicate the look of real racing cars, F1 Authentics used real CAD data supplied by F1 to manufacture the car during a 300-man-hour construction period overseen by former F1 engineers.

For the installation, the MGM Rewards’ F1 Show Car was hoisted on a crane and then set atop the Winner’s Stage extending over the iconic Fountains of Bellagio.
