Youth Conservation Council:
The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) Youth Conservation Council (YCC) provides Southern Nevada high school students an opportunity to earn community service hours and learn about real-world water issues. The YCC program explores how experts in many different fields from biology, chemistry, engineering and law work together to manage the valley’s water resources. YCC members examine the water-related issues facing our community and help develop strategies for environmental stewardship including planning and implementing the Earth Day Celebration.
