EATALY LAUNCHES NEW DINING EXPERIENCE FOR FLAGSHIP RESTAURANT, LA PIZZA & LA PASTA 

The Regionally Focused Program Begins in Rome, Aiming to Transport Guests to the Eternal City

Eataly, the global Italian marketplace and retail concept, is set to launch a new dining experience across North America for its signature restaurant outlet: La Pizza & La Pasta. Starting on April 28, the reimagined concept will spotlight Italy’s most iconic cities through a regionally focused program.

Featuring limited-run menus that showcase the uniqueness of Italy’s culinary practices, guests will be able to indulge in the typical dishes and wines of a specific region for a span of 8 weeks. Beginning in Rome, in the region of Lazio, Eataly will provide the opportunity to dive deeper into the city’s traditions through a curated food and beverage offering.

THE MENU

Inspired by the icons of Roman cuisine, menu highlights include Eataly interpretations on the classics – antipasti from crispy supplì to fried artichokes served tableside with creamy Cacio e Pepe sauce, indulgent pastas like Rigatoni alla Carbonara or Fettucine “Alfredo” Burro e Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP, and more:

  • Supplì Cacio e Pepe (Crispy Riso Scotti Rice, Granarolo Pecorino Romano DOP, Black Pepper)
  • Carciofo Fritto alla Romana (Fried Artichokes, Cacio e Pepe Sauce, Lemon Zest, Mint, Granarolo Pecorino Romano DOP)
  • Bruschetta Romana (Toasted Rustic Bread, Whipped Calabro Ricotta, Asparagus, Romanesco Broccolo, Crumbled San Carlo Guanciale, Granarolo Pecorino Romano DOP)
  • Polpette Fritte (Crispy Housemade Pork and Beef Meatballs, Granarolo Pecorino Romano DOP Crema, Spicy Mutti Tomato Sauce, Fried Herbs)
  • Rigatoni alla Carbonara (Afeltra Rigatoni, San Carlo Guanciale, Eggs, Granarolo Pecorino Romano DOP, Black Pepper)
  • Fettucine “Alfredo” Burro e Parmigiano Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP (Housemade Fettuccine, Butter, 18-month Agriform Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP)
  • Pizza Tre Carciofi (Artichoke Purée, Sautéed Artichokes, Mozzarella di Napoli, Artichoke Chips, Shaved Pecorino Romano, Fresh Mint, Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

The beverage menu will illustrate the native terroir of the land, journeying through Lazio with local wines, beers, and cocktail options.
