L.A. Comedy Club inside The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower is keeping the laughs going in March with a powerhouse lineup of comedians. From Julio Gonzalez, Butch Bradley and Bret Ernst delivering their award-winning comedy weekly to nationally touring headliners like Paul Ogata, Landry, Brandt Tobler, Willie Farrell, JC Currais and Peter Berman, the Dragon Room will be packed with talent. The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed “The younger rebel brother of Improv” by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot “where comedy comes to party,” the repeat gold “Best of Las Vegas” award winner has relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

  • World Series of Comedy: Monday, Feb. 24 through Saturday, March 1

The World Series of Comedy is a stand-up comedy event for comedians of all levels. The Main Event, held at the L.A. Comedy Club, includes 101 qualifying comedians competing for a chance of victory. Participating clubs will be awarded to the first, second, and third place finalists with first place being awarded a CD recording deal with Uproar Entertainment.

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival, the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received multiple awards for “Best Comedian,” including three consecutive golds and a bronze from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the recently released film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.

  • 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst

Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 Nights—Hollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflix’s hit series, “Cobra Kai.” Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

Jimmy Earll is a Filipino-American stand-up comedian from California known for his sharp humor and global appeal. He was selected for the 2009 “San Francisco International Comedy Competition” and has shared the stage with top comedians, including Jo Koy, Norm Macdonald, George Wallace, Russell Peters and Pinoy comedy icons Edwin San Juan and Rex Navarrete. Earll has performed worldwide, from Saudi Arabia to Scandinavia, and is a regular on the Las Vegas Strip. His comedy has also been featured on Howard 101 on SiriusXM Radio.

  • Monday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, March 2: Paul Ogata featuring Bobby Henline

Paul Ogata was born and raised in Pearl City, Hawaii before moving to Los Angeles in 2006 to devote more time to stand-up comedy. In 2004, Ogata won the title of “Funniest Asian-American Comedian in the U.S.” in the TakeOut Comedian Competition and won the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition in 2007. Ogata has been seen on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” “Comics Unleashed,” CBS’s “Late Late Show” and debuted his stand-up comedy album “Paul Ogata Stands Up: Live in Hong Kong” in February 2010.

Bobby Henline, known as “The WellDone Comedian,” is a U.S. Army veteran turned stand-up comic who uses humor to inspire and entertain. After surviving an IED explosion during his fourth tour in Iraq, Henline turned to comedy as a way to heal and connect, sharing his raw and unfiltered take on life as a burn survivor. Henline has performed at top venues such as Laugh Factory in Chicago and Zanies in Nashville. His story has been featured in documentaries like “Comedy Warriors: Healing Through Humor” and “Healing Bobby,” as well as on CNN, NPR, Time Magazine and People. Balancing humor with heart, Henline continues to tour nationwide, bringing laughter to audiences while sharing his remarkable journey of resilience and recovery.

  • Monday, March 3 through Sunday, March 9: Landry featuring Jeff Horste

Landry, originally from Kitchener, Ontario, began his comedy career in 2006 and has become best known for his charismatic performances. Having made his mark in the Canadian comedy scene with his diverse comedy style that appeals to audiences from all walks of life, he moved to Atlanta in 2007 to join the American comedy scene. In 2010, Landry took the title of “Best Male Comic” in the Atlanta Stand Up awards. He later made it to the finals in NBC’s “Stand Up for Diversity Showcase” and has starred in TV ONE’s “Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?” He was also the first winner of the Punchline Club’s “64 Comedian Super Comedy Competition” in addition to his triumph at the The Boston Comedy Festival in 2011.

Jeff Horste is a nationally touring comedian known for his sharp, observational humor and ability to find laughs in everything from book bags and candy corn to social issues. He showcased his comedic talents on Comedy Central’s “Hart of the City” and his own half-hour special, “The Next Level,” both produced by Kevin Hart. He was also selected by Killer Mike as a comedy ambassador on the Weedmaps-sponsored Vice TV series “Tumbleweeds.” Horste performs at top comedy clubs, venues and festivals across the country. A versatile performer, he thrives in both traditional and unconventional spaces, bringing his quick wit to theaters, living rooms, dispensaries, weddings, ice cream parlors, nudist colonies, parking lots, backyards, museums and just about anywhere else.

  • Monday, March 10 through Sunday, March 16: Brandt Tobler featuring Agostino Zoida

Brandt Tobler, a Cheyenne, Wyoming native is a stand-up comedian, author and actor. Tobler is a regular on numerous comedy podcasts, including “Bertcast,” “Crabfeast,” “Your Mom’s House,” “Mohr Sports,” “The Dana Gould Hour,” Ari Shaffir’s “Skeptic Tank” and was the main host of the award-winning podcast “The 31.” He has also been featured on Comedy Central, Fox and ESPN, and has taken his acts overseas to perform for American troops. His two comedy albums “Token White Boy” and “Ramblin’ and Gamblin’” reached No. 1 on the iTunes and Amazon charts the week they were released. Tobler was also a finalist in Barstool Sports’ “Barstool Idol” contest and was named the “Best-Undiscovered Comedian from Wyoming” by Thrillist in 2018.

Agostino Zoida is an Italian-American, born and raised in Los Angeles. He spent the first seven years of his career touring with legendary Joey Diaz. Always bringing the funny to the stage, his comedy highlights a passionate and unique point of view on life, marriage and family – all while maintaining his likability and a gentleman savvy mentality. He is a crowd favorite and creative storyteller, making him one of the top comedy writers in the industry. Willie Fratto Farrell has been one of the country’s most requested corporate performers for the past 25 years. With his unique, hilarious humor, tailor-made for his audience, he will take that humdrum sales meeting or predictable holiday party and turn it into a memorable event. Farrell has performed as a regular act on Norwegian Cruise Line for more than 20 years and has entertained in nearly every comedy club in the country. Now he spends most of his time in Atlantic City and Las Vegas, where he has become a favorite at L.A. Comedy Club inside The STRAT. Willie has appeared on A&E, Comedy Central, ESPN and was featured on “The Godfathers of Comedy” airing on Showtime.

Rodger Lizaola has been making audiences laugh since 2003, building a reputation for his quick humor and dynamic stage presence. He started his career in Seattle and quickly became one of the youngest headliners in the Northwest, opening for comedy legends and iconic musical acts. His talent and persistence have earned him recognition at top comedy festivals, including winning the 2023 Big Sky Comedy Festival. He is a multi-time finalist in the Seattle and San Francisco International Comedy Competitions and an invitee to the Moontower Comedy Festival. Lizaola made his television debut on Season 1 of FOX’s “Laughs” and MTV2’s “ADD-TV” and is featured in the documentary “Seattle 21st Century City.”

JC Currais is a Cuban American comedian and actor, born and raised in Miami. His acting career began in 2010 when he made his film debut at the Sundance Film Festival in a feature titled “New Low.” Since then, Currais has starred in television shows such as FOX’s “Lethal Weapon,” and BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and was a series regular on Disney Channel’s original series “Just Roll With It.” In the comedy world, Currais has performed on TBS’s “Conan” and Comedy Central, was named TBS’s “Top Comics to Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival and was one of the “New Faces of Comedy” at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal. In 2020, Currais wrote and performed on the Twitch Sketch series “Two Joysticks and a Couch.”

  • Monday, March 31 through Sunday, April 6: Peter Berman featuring Todd Royce

Peter Berman got his break when he was invited to a gig at Hollywood Improv. The following summer, he finished his degree in communications and moved from Michigan to Los Angeles, where he quickly became a regular in the stand-up comedy scene. He rose through the ranks, opening for big-name comics like Tim Allen and Paul Reisner. He later became a regular on MTV, VH1 and Comedy Central as well as shows such as “The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” “Star Search” and a guest host on NBC’s “Friday Night.” Berman also appeared on Comedy Central’s international television series “The World Stands Up” and won over audiences in England, Ireland, Australia, The Netherlands and Scotland. With a mix of personal life chaos and observational humor, Peter is now developing TV shows, including a sitcom inspired by his unconventional family life.

Todd Royce was a professional wrestler for 18 years before getting into stand-up comedy. He toured throughout North America, performing in comedy clubs eventually becoming known as “The American Wet Dream” and “Top Choice Todd Royce.” Royce was given a Golden Ticket on the popular “Kill Tony” podcast by host Tony Hinchcliffe.
