1228 Main in Downtown Las Vegas is
Sharing Its Baking Secrets with New Bread Classes

1228 Main, a neighborhood bakery and café by day and a restaurant and bar by night, located in the vibrant Las Vegas Arts District, is hosting classes to give baking enthusiasts the chance to learn how to bake bread like a professional. Led by Head Baker Noel Rosello, classes will be bi-monthly throughout the summer, offering participants the chance to bake bread ranging from classic sourdough to a flavorful cherry walnut. Each one-hour class is held from 3 to 4 p.m. and will include wine, light snacks, Q & A with Chef Noel, recipe card, and small container of sourdough starter for $60 per person.

No experience is necessary to attend 1228 Main’s bread classes, making them a great choice for newbies and those looking to hone their baking technique. The baking process will be shown from start to finish, with items requiring lengthy prep time being pre-made. This ensures participants can see what items look like post-resting period for a comprehensive experience. The finished baked goods are taken home to enjoy, and the provided recipe card will allow them students to practice their new baking skills at home.

A neighborhood café by day and elevated restaurant and bar by night, 1228 Main (pronounced twelve-twenty-eight), located at 1228 S. Main St. in Downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with a full-service bakery and coffee counter.
