From flavorful bites at 1228’s hip bar to exquisite dishes for dinner, every selection is crafted to delight and inspire, whether dropping by for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely dinner with friends.
From 3 p.m. to close daily, the bar at 1228 Main serves an enticing array of small bites, starting at just $8 each. Highlights include Ora King salmon sashimi with chili ponzu, zesty steak tartare with chili almond macha, succulent slow-roasted pork belly, and artisanal house-made focaccia topped with mortadella and aged provolone. For those seeking something more substantial, the Wagyu smash burger is available all day.
For dinner, 1228 Main presents a captivating new menu that spans from appetizers to desserts. Guests can embark on a gastronomic journey with starters such as brioche-crusted goat cheese with market mixed greens, grilled squid with gigante beans and Castelvetrano olives and salt and pepper shrimp. Entrée options include Bouillabaisse soup, expertly grilled New York steak with bearnaise, heritage pork chop with mustard sauce, and decadent chicken pot pie with black truffle. The dessert menu features warm apple crumble served with vanilla ice cream and fresh-baked cookies from 1228 Main’s in-house bakery.
Signature cocktails inspired by 1228’s eclectic playlist accentuate the dining experience. They include choices such as “Sabotage,” featuring Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Fresno agave, lime and Topo Chico; and “You Wreck Me,” crafted with Brother’s Bond Rye, lemon, ginger and fresh mint.
During 1228 Main’s social hour from 3 to 6 p.m. daily, patrons can enjoy $8 sangria, signature negronis, and grapefruit palomas, $6 glasses or $24 bottles of wine, $5 pours of select spirits, and local draft beers priced at $5.
