Village People’s Performance at The Edge Pavilion

The iconic disco group Village People has rescheduled its headline performance at The Edge Pavilion to a new date on Saturday, April 19. Tickets purchased for the original show date on Saturday, March 22 will remain valid for the new performance date. Fans who bought tickets through Ticketmaster or the Edgewater Box Office can contact their original point of purchase for a refund.
Village People, widely regarded as the world’s greatest disco group, have sold more than 100 million records worldwide, with their music becoming an enduring part of the international songbook. Formed in 1977, the group rose to fame with hits such as “San Francisco (You Got Me)” and “In Hollywood (Everybody’s A Star),” followed by iconic tracks including “Y.M.C.A.,” “Macho Man,” “In the Navy” and “Go West.” Their five-time platinum album “Cruisin” and contributions to the disco era solidified their place in music history. In 2020, “Y.M.C.A.” was inducted into the Library of Congress’ National Recording Registry, and in 2022, it entered the Grammy Hall of Fame. After decades of evolution, founding member Victor Willis returned in 2016 to lead a refreshed lineup, delivering world-class performances to sold-out audiences around the globe.
