The UNLV men’s golf team resumes spring play with a visit to Lihu’e, Kaua’i, Hawai’i for the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, which is being hosted by Hawai’i from Thursday-Saturday at the Ocean Course at Hōkūala (Par 72, 7,156 yards).
THE FIELD: The Rebels are part of a 20-team field, including the host Rainbow Warriors, No. 10 Arizona, No. 19 New Mexico, No. 21 Cal, Arkansas Little Rock, BYU, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Grand Canyon, Hawai‘i, Long Beach State, New Mexico, Saint Mary’s (CA), San Diego State, San Francisco, Texas A&M, UC Santa Barbara, USC, Utah, UTEP and Washington State.
UNLV LINEUP: Representing the Scarlet & Gray will be seniors Caden Fioroni and Yuki Moriyama, junior Trevor Lewis, senior Ben Sawaia and sophomore Wyatt Plattner. Freshman Hogan Park is set to compete as an individual.
SCHEDULE: Following Wednesday’s practice round, 18 holes will be played each day. Each round will have a 10:30 a.m. PT shotgun start.
