Southern Highlands HOA and Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation Team Up for Toy Drive Benefiting Operation Warm Heart from Nov. 19 – Dec. 18

Annual Winter Festival and Tree Lighting set for Nov. 30

Heralding the holiday season most festively, Southern Highlands HOA in tandem with Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation, announces a Toy Drive and the annual Winter Festival and Tree Lighting, benefiting Operation Warm Heart (OWH) from now through Dec. 18.

Residents and community members are encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys to a variety of donation drop-off locations including Olympia Management Offices, Ana’s Cleaners, Pineapple Park, SOHI Fitness, and the upcoming annual Winter Festival and Tree Lighting event set for Thursday, Nov. 30 from 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Southern Highlands Corporate Center at 1411 Southern Highlands Pkwy.

While admission to the popular annual Winter Festival and Tree Lighting is complimentary, with an Adopt-A-Family toy donation for OWH, attendees get a free razzle prize. An Activity Card purchase gets attendees photos with Santa, photos with holiday characters, a festive Train Ride, and some holiday swag.

Other free activities include a holiday craft, letters to Santa, hot cocoa, holiday story time, holiday music, inflatable games, and fun activities. Of course, the event will also feature a Vendor Village full of artisanal crafts and gifts for purchase, food trucks, and the official tree-lighting ceremony complete with Carolers.

“We believe it is crucial to support our active military throughout the year, but especially during the holidays. Operation Warm Heart provides vital financial assistance to the airmen and their families of the Nellis and Creech military communities, ensuring they have a joyful and stress-free holiday season. Through our partnership with Operation Warm Heart, we can make a meaningful impact and show our gratitude to those who serve our country,” said Matthew DeFalco, Government Affairs and Community Relations Director for Olympia Companies.

Operation Warm Heart is a private, nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to the local airmen and their families of the Nellis and Creech military communities.

The Olympia Companies Charitable Foundation and Southern Highlands have long supported Operation Warm Heart. In addition to the Winter Festival and Tree Lighting, other community-focused events, including the annual Memorial Day Celebration and the Governor’s Black-Tie events, have also supported this worthy organization
