It’s time to capture your inner adventurer and take hold as you travel to a speakeasy like none other where the prehistoric meets the 1920s as The Cabinet of Curiosities presents The Hall of Prehistoric Monsters: Drink Among the Dinos pop-up speakeasy at Horseshoe Las Vegas lower level. Open every Friday and Saturday night in the Dino Safari: A Walk Thru Adventure opening gallery, Drink Among the Dinos will immerse patrons in a bygone era where prehistoric monsters meet perfectly crafted cocktails. This limited-time pop-up speakeasy runs now through the end of October, however its daytime kid-friendly counterpart ended its meteoric run earlier this week.

“I’ve always loved the thrill of adventure, from traveling across the globe to the depths of the earth, but the one experience I’ve yet to encounter is those of the dinosaurs,” said Tom Zaller, CEO of Imagine Exhibitions. “The prehistoric, the thrill of the monster, the traveling back in time is something we’ve all yearned to experience from young to old…this is our version of doing this, surrounded by life-sized animatronic creatures, immersed in the culture of that 1920s adventurer, yet also with a drink in hand as many of our great explorers were ought to do! And so, we have crafted a menu to perfectly complement the taste and feel of that time where curiosity and adventure was at the forefront.”

Explorers will be immersed among a variety of prehistoric monsters, from the fearsome hadrosaur as the beast of a thousand teeth breathes and roars alongside you, or as the hererrasaurus, with its grip of death, looms above while a cocktail tickles your tastebuds. While bar carts will be stocked throughout, the mixologists at The Cabinet of Curiosities have crafted bespoke cocktails just for the occasion:

  • The Brachio Tea: Four Roses Bourbon, iced tea, lemon juice, smoked blueberry syrup and garnished with a date wrapped apricot
  • The Watering Hole:  Four Roses Bourbon, Disaronno Amaretto, almond milk, peanut butter syrup and garnished with a chocolate marshmallow nest
  • The Raptor Refresher: Ketel One Vodka, lemonade, hibiscus passionfruit yuzu syrup and garnished with an hibiscus lime sugar salt
