Clique Hospitality has announced July hours and events for The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails and CliQue Bar & Lounge at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Highlights include an emo night at The Barbershop, a basketball summer league party at CliQue, and the return of The Barbershop’s Battle of the Bands.
The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails
Open for cuts 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday; 10 a.m. – midnight on Friday and Saturday;
Saloon open 8 p.m. – close from Sunday – Wednesday; and 6 p.m. – close from Thursday – Saturday
Behind an unassuming janitor’s door inside the upscale men’s grooming salon at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, a swanky hideaway lounge meets rock saloon where live music is played nightly. Your grandfather’s barbershop with a twist, the salon offers stylish cuts, facials, a hot lather shave and beard and more, paired with the full bar menu. - “It’s Not a Phase, Mom!” Emo Night: Thursday, July 4
○ The Barbershop presents a new monthly program featuring emo fan-favorites all night long. Emo fans can prove it wasn’t a phase, don their ripped jeans, lace up their vans, and celebrate the music they love for The Barbershop’s first “It’s Not a Phase Mom” emo night. The evening’s emo classics will be provided live by frequent Barbershop stars, The Regulators, featuring former Savage Garden and Lifehouse guitarist Ben Carey and former Lifehouse bassist Bryce Soderberg, with vocal talent from Las Vegas local up-and-coming musician Ziggy Zeno. The celebration begins at 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, and will reoccur on the first Thursday of each month. Reservations can be made online here.
- The Barbershop’s Battle of the Bands: Monday, July 14, 22 and 29
○ The Battle of the Bands is back for its fourth installment at The Barbershop. This year’s exciting month-long event will feature some of the top up-and-coming talent on the Las Vegas Strip and will be hosted by Ben Carey, The Barbershop’s resident performer and talent scout and former guitarist of Savage Garden and Lifehouse. Each night four of 16 competing bands will each perform a 30-minute set for a panel of three local celebrity judges that rotate weekly. Contestants will be judged on song choice, performance and crowd interaction to determine which band from each night will move on to the final round. At the end of the final night on Monday, August 12, one band will be crowned the winner and receive a $5,000 cash prize and a 6-month residency at The Barbershop. CliQue Bar & Lounge

Located in the heart of the casino floor at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, CliQue Bar & Lounge presents tableside mixology, along with timeless music and craft cocktails to awaken the senses. There are a variety of savory bites and shareable plates, such as CliQue’s famous wings, juicy sliders and deep-fried Oreos, and drinks, including shooters, bubbles and aperitifs. Enjoy the fruity, strawberry-forward So Fresa, So Clean made with Tres Generaciones blanco, aperol, watermelon juice, strawberry syrup, agave and lime juice; or the tangy and spicy Benny Blanco made with Flecha Azul blanco, pineapple chili shrub, velvet falernum, lemon and seltzer, both priced at $20. Those looking for a more elaborate experience can enjoy CliQue’s signature Tableside Mixology, a presentation designed to delight the senses as cocktails are made before your very eyes by the lounge’s professional mixologists on staff.
