Downtown Las Vegas Casino-Resort Throws Ultimate Grad Bash for Hundreds of 2020 Clark County School District Alumni Who Never Received In-Person Celebration Due to Covid-19 Pandemic

On June 14, Stadium Swim at Circa Resort & Casino’s 2020 Stadium Swim Grad Splash welcomed hundreds of Clark County School District (CCSD) alumni who missed out on an in-person high school graduation ceremony in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This included awarding Cimarron-Memorial High School a first-place prize grant of $10,000 from Circa and PRIME Hydration. The Spartans received the grant as they were the school with the highest number of students and staff in attendance at the party. Additional grant money was given to the top four schools with the highest attendance. Grant recipients were:
- First ($10,000) – Cimarron-Memorial High School
- Second ($5,000) – Shadow Ridge High School
- Third (Tie – $900 each) – Liberty High School & Arbor View High School
“We wanted to give the class of 2020 an unforgettable day as they missed out on many key moments for high school students because of the shutdown,” said Derek Stevens, CEO of Circa. “We hope they had the time of their lives, and we wish them nothing but success in the future.”
Turning Stadium Swim into the ultimate graduation bash, CCSD high school class of 2020 alumni and current staff were treated to champagne showers, a class of 2020 photo moment, complimentary food and beverage samplings by PRIME Hydration and White Claw, free rideshare and more.
