Borracha Mexican Cantina, located at Green Valley Ranch Spa and Casino in Henderson, will host the ultimate Cinco de Mayo weekend fiesta with a live mariachi band, DJs and drink specials.

From 9 p.m. to midnight on Friday, May 3, Borracha will feature a live DJ, as well as provide guests with a chance to win tickets to the Canelo Álvarez versus Jaime Munguía fight that will take place at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday, May 4. On Sunday May 5, Borracha will host a celebratory brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a live DJ. Dinner will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. featuring a live mariachi band performance, followed by a DJ who will keep the party going until late. To put the icing on the top of the Cinco de Mayo celebration, the Borracha team will celebrate the restaurant’s eighth anniversary with a ceremonial cake and complimentary slices at 9 p.m.

While enjoying the live entertainment, guests can sip and savor the Cinco de Mayo drink specials available exclusively for the holiday, including the Berry Blanco Buck, crafted with Espolón Blanco, blackberries, lime juice and Fever Tree ginger beer; the Grand Margarita, made with Espolón Blanco, Grand Marnier, agave and lime juice; and the Raspberry Fizz featuring Espolón Reposado, raspberry syrup, lemon juice and Fever Tree lime yuzu soda, all three priced at $16 each. Borracha’s signature cocktails will also be available, including the mango margarita with Espolón Blanco, mango, fresh lime juice and agave nectar, priced at $15; and the Desperado made with Espolón Blanco, house made sangria, Modelo Especial, lime, chicharron and a Tajín rim, priced at $16.

Borracha’s brunch menu features the best of Mexican cuisine’s breakfast and lunch combinations. Classics include a chorizo skillet with two eggs, chorizo, Cotija cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, peppers and onions, served over borracha potatoes, priced at $16; and chilaquiles with two eggs, corn tortilla chips, black beans, cotija cheese, avocado, cilantro and oven-roasted tomato arbol sauce, priced at $15. The dinner selection features a variety of traditional tacos including grilled chicken, carne asada steak, pork carnitas, marinated mahi-mahi or chili-lime shrimp, served with rice and beans, priced starting at $17; and fajitas served with sautéed peppers and onions, chile butter, fresh lime and choice of chicken, mahi-mahi, grilled steak or shrimp, served withflour or corn tortillas, priced starting at $21.
