PT’s Taverns Announces Details
for Annual Ultimate Wing Down Chicken Wing Eating Contest
The Ultimate Wing Down will take place on Saturday, August 3 at 1 p.m.,
with the grand prize winner walking away with $2,500.
– PT’s Taverns, the favorite place for Vegas locals to enjoy mouthwatering eats and every big game, will bring the neighborhood together again on Saturday, August 3 for its annual Ultimate Wing Down Chicken Wing Eating Contest starting at 1 p.m. The contest will be hosted at PT’s Ranch, located at 2430 E Pebble Road.
The entry fee for participating in the contest, which prohibits professional competitive eaters, is $10 and will be limited to 100 entrants. Registration will start at 11:30 a.m. Around 1 p.m., contestants will be called in groups of five to their designated eating area, and will have two minutes to eat as many wings as they choose. Winners will be determined based on the greatest number of wings consumed as counted by a team of judges. Any ties will be decided by a two-minute “eat off.” Three winners will be awarded, with first place receiving $2,500, second place receiving $1,000 and third place receiving $500.
The event is PT’s fourth annual Chicken Wing Eating Contest and will draw a large crowd of spectators and wing-eating enthusiasts from the Las Vegas community. Additional details on PT’s promotional event can be found here.
