Bottomless Tequila Deals to Celebrate National Tequila Day
Mijo Modern Mexican Restaurant, Clique Hospitality’s new Mexican restaurant at Durango Casino & Resort, and Wax Rabbit, the enchanting cocktail lounge hidden within the Mijo’s walls, will celebrate National Tequila Day with bottomless margarita deals for $24. The celebratory offer will be available from 4 to 10 p.m. at Mijo, and from 6 p.m. to midnight at Wax Rabbit on Wednesday, July 24.
Those dining at Mijo can enjoy bottomless access to the restaurant’s four delicious Mijo margaritas. Options include the Spicy Mango Margarita, made with Codigo Blanco tequila, Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur, Grand Marnier, mango juice and agave; the Strawberry Margarita, made with Codigo Blanco tequila, strawberry puree and apple bitters; the Pepino Margarita, made with Codigo Blanco tequila, cucumber puree and pineapple juice; and the Prickly Pear Margarita, made with Codigo Blanco tequila, prickly pear and orange bitters. These bottomless libations pair excellently with coastal Mexican flavors from the restaurant’s extensive menu, including shareable starters like the charred octopus priced at $32; sea bass ceviche priced at $18; or entrees including the Surf & Turf Burrito priced at $34; and the birria short rib priced at $48.
After dinner, guests with reservations can make their way to relax at Wax Rabbit and bask in the speakeasies sultry and seductive atmosphere, draped in warm crimsons and adorned with a variety of rabbit artifacts. Guests can enjoy bottomless access to the four aforementioned margaritas all while enjoying live sets featuring favorite classics spun by all-vinyl DJs.
