L.A. Comedy Club inside The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower has three shows nightly and is home to comedians Julio Gonzalez, Butch Bradley and Bret Ernst. This month they will be sharing the stage with some of the funniest names in the comedy scene: Jay Big Irish Hollingsworth, Peter Berman, KT Tatara, Murray SawChuck and Carlos Rodriguez. L.A. Comedy Club will also celebrate National Best Friends Day happening Saturday, June 8 with BOGO tickets available from Friday, June 7 through Sunday, June 9. The L.A. Comedy Club, dubbed The younger rebel brother of Improv by Casino Player Magazine, has been entertaining Las Vegas locals and visitors since 2007. Known as the spot where comedy comes to party, the repeat Best of Las Vegas gold award winner has recently relocated its famed Dragon Room to a custom-built 270-seat showroom on the main casino floor at The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower.

Julio Gonzalez, a rising star in the comedy scene, is known nationwide for his storytelling comedic style using his life experiences such as weight loss, relationships, society, women and living life to the fullest. Gonzalez also uses his platform and talents as a comedian to help others through his various charity shows and is committed to being the change he wants to see in the world.

  • 10 p.m. Thursday through Monday: Butch Bradley

Comedic veteran, Butch Bradley, grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and started his comedy career by becoming a founding member of the Boston Improv Troupe. Bradley has been the opening act for comedic legends like Ray Romano, Lewis Black and Cathy Ladman and has appeared on HBO, Comedy Central, has been a regular on “The Late Late Show” and toured festivals such as the “Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival,” the “Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival” and made an appearance as a USO Entertainer. Bradley has received the gold award for “Best Comedian” for three consecutive years from the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards. Bradley’s comedy special, “Butch Bradley: From Las Vegas” is currently available on Amazon Prime. He can also be seen on the big screen in the upcoming film “Reagan” starring Dennis Quaid.

  • 10 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday: Bret Ernst

Bret Ernst, born and raised in New Jersey, was one of four comedians featured in “Wild West Comedy Show: 30 Days and 30 NightsHollywood to the Heartland,” has appeared on television shows like “Comedy Central Presents,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” “Weeds” and has a recurring role on Netflixs hit series, Cobra Kai. Ernst’s jokes are rooted in storytelling, giving the audience an inside look at the life of a typical North Jersey Italian kid in the 1980s.

Murray SawChuck is a Las Vegas headliner, comedian, master of illusion and World Champion magician. SawChuck made his mark as a household name after a successful run with standing ovations from all the judges on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” With over 1 billion views, he has become one of YouTube’s newest sensations and is a regular guest on History Channel’s “Pawn Stars” as an expert magician. SawChuck can also be seen making appearances in over 20 reality TV shows including CW’s “Master of Illusions,” “Master Chef,” and TLC’s “What Not To Wear.” His professional career took off when he created an act called “The CD Act” which included manipulation of a multitude of compact discs, which no other illusionist globally has recreated. Murray has earned more than 32 awards for his national and international performances giving him the title “World Champion.” Some of his most recent awards include that L.A. Comedy Award for “Best Comedy Act,” Top 100 Business Men of Nevada and 100 Most Distinguished Men of Nevada.

Carlos Rodriguez lets his inner child come out on stage full of passion, excitement and energy with stories about life and his childhood experiences growing up in a large family. His clever and approachable style of comedy has taken him to some of the most prestigious clubs across the country and in Las Vegas. He also featured on Comedy Central’s “Up Next,” and Hulu’s “Quick Laffs.” He has also participated in the World Series of Comedy; the San Francisco International Comedy Competition, where he was a finalist; and the SLO Comedy Festival, where he was voted Best of the Fest in 2016 and 2018. Named “Best Comic in Sacramento” by Sacramento News & Review for three consecutive years in 2013-2015, he has headlined multiple international tours for American military overseas as well as taken the stage in Europe, Asia and Australia.

KT Tatara has been using his wit and likeability to charm his audience for over 15 years. His Japanese and Caucasian heritage in addition to growing up in Washington D.C. and West Virginia, Tatara developed an uncanny ability to connect with people from all backgrounds. His heritage has allowed him to create a uniquely insightful and uplifting performance tailored for diversity-focused events. Tatara has numerous television appearances that include CBS’s “How I Met Your Mother”, Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham”, Fox’s “Lethal Weapon” and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” He has also had the honor to perform for the prestigious “Just For Laughs” festival five times.

Army veteran Gene Moore resides in Phoenix but spends his time traveling all over the country entertaining audiences with his uplifting, infectious energy. Moore finds the humor in the ordinary, and his uncanny ability to connect with others makes the audience feel like they’re amongst old friends. His quick wit and hilarious jokes ensures that audience members leave in a better mood than they arrived in. Hunter was a finalist on season six of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and has appeared on “Chelsea Lately,” “The Late Late Show,” MTV, VH1, TruTV, CBS, Comedy Central and more. He has performed for the Armed Services on multiple military tours at bases in Asia, Africa and South America as well as in the United States. His web series “MMA Roasted” and bi-weekly “MMA Roasted Podcast” breaks down popular MMA fighters with brash humor and comedy to an audience of more than 100,000 per month.
