Kalil Brothers to Guest Bartend at Stadium Swim and MEGA BAR
It’s a family affair! Brothers and former professional football players Ryan and Matt Kalil will serve up their family-owned Celaya Tequila at Circa Resort & Casino on September 15. The pair will pour shots at Circa’s year-round pool amphitheater Stadium Swim from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. before heading down to Nevada’s longest indoor bar, MEGA BAR, from 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
Crafted in honor of the Kalil brothers’ great-great-grandfather, Jose Celaya, Celaya Tequila is authentic to their Mexican heritage. Served in blanco, reposado and añejo, these natural, small batch, premium tequilas celebrate family and traditions. Celaya Tequila harvests pinas from both highland and lowland areas to create a blend of agave with a balance of earthy/spice and fruity/sweet. The team at Celaya is dedicated to making an impact on the lives of Agave Farmers and Distillery Workers in Jalisco, Mexico by donating $1 with every bottle sold to support these at-risk families.
Ryan is an American film and television producer and former professional football player. As a pro, he primarily played center at Carolina. He was a three-time All-Pro, twice named to the first team and a five-time Pro Bowl selection. He played college football for Southern California where he was a member of two national championship teams, named a first-team All-American and won the 2006 Morris Trophy. He was selected by Carolina in the second round of the 2007 draft, where he played for 12 seasons. Kalil was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2015.
Matt is a former professional offensive tackle. Like his brother, he played college football for Southern California and was selected by Minnesota fourth overall in the 2012 draft. In his pro football career, he also played for Carolina and Houston.
The brothers hold their alma mater near to their heart and have worked to make Celaya Tequila the official tequila partner of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and a proud partner of USC Athletics.
The Stadium Swim portion is open to all attendees at the pool, and MEGA BAR is free and open to the public. Circa is a 21 and over property.
